The only flyer in the commission complete, aside from the nose guns. Those are being painted with the other tanks. Added some dirt and stains in the vents and grills.

3 World Eaters Rhinos complete. I printed out the World Eaters logo and cut out the mouth so I would get a stencil. I used an airbrush while holding the stencil against the hatch area of the tanks and got a neat effect. It kind of looks like the World Eaters put on their icon on the tanks themselves they took as loot.

Terminators got the dirt and blood treatment, like their liege-lord. Tanks next?

At the request of the client, I painted Angron first, on stream. Unfortunately, since I am still out of the house, I don’t have access to all my pigments and weathering effects to add the finishing touches of dirt of other matter on Angron. However, he is otherwise complete. Maybe a bit of static grass and blood droplets to add.

I love his request to change the scheme from the box art brass armour, to follow his legion colours. Makes for a unique piece. Looks great.

One of my Twitch viewers suggested this line of models to me. I have never heard of the Bootleg line from Corvus Belli. Love the models. They are like the pinup/special edition minis from the game. Some of them look especially sexy. This is the Lizard Pilot from the Bootleg line. Followed the box art. A fine model, but a bit small for me. I also have the Tech-Bees mech, so I think that’ll be fun too.

Almost like the Tacticals, but the main difference being the gold helmets. Also fancy guns.

This guy was fun to paint. I have finally had a chance to push myself a bit, to see what I can really do. Super happy with him. I managed to give different texture to the clothing, give his face life (sort of), and do some NMM.

I am most happy with the hat. It’s almost like denim or something. The face, I tried to paint the shadows on so I don’t need to rely ambient lighting to cast the shadows I want. The first image below has very few shadows from my lighting setup, for example.

The NMM bits include the buttons and the shoulder lapels. Feels good to do it again.

Started this guy tonight. The Tiger Ace Michael Whittmann 1/9th scale miniature bust. It took me the better part of the stream just to do the hat, around 2 hours. And I love the hat. I cannot get over how happy I am with the hat.

The texture is exactly what I wanted. Worn, sort of wool texture. A dark hat turned grey in the sun. I spent the better part of 10 minutes just appreciating my work.

A single Space Marine Ironclad Dreadnought done at display standard. I chose Imperial Fist colours because I haven’t done yellow in a long time and it easily stands out. This was also a rare opportunity to use weathering powders and other techniques to make it look like it fit in the scene of destroyed urban streets. This was the first time I got to use my newly acquired stencils, being the street markings on the base.

The chainsaw has copious amounts of gore on it as well as a more-than-subtle splatter effect on the left side of the dreadnought. Almost as if the blood would be mostly on the side when it eviscerates people. The final detail was in the form of a decal on the Hurricane Bolter side denoting “V”. Whatever the viewer may interpret that as.

All in all, I am very pleased with this piece and had lots of fun painting it on stream for my viewers to enjoy. They loved witnessing the process and I loved explaining my steps and thought process to them.
