A second Men-at-Arms stand and another hero stand.

I just need to finish a command strip of the infantry and I’ll have a finished regiment! This regiment will have Polish red/white colours, but my other units will have different schemes.

The second hero stand that is complete is a hero with a banner. She is accompanied by a Winged Hussar with his own flag. I think this time, the two minis aren’t as obvious in their different scales as with the Green Knight. My headcannon says the cloth over the hero’s horse is pretty thick and makes the horse bulky.

I gotta say, I was skeptical on the paper flag print out, but having it attached and together with the other painted minis, I think it really comes together. My general is going to have even larger flags, so I hope their more intricate design goes with the rest of the army well.

In preparation for a game I had over the long weekend, I finally made the time to base a bunch of my army and painted this Household Knight.

The scheme for my Hundred Kingdoms army is Knights of the Blazing Sun from old warhammer fantasy. So, bronze armour with yellow and black clothing and sun motifs. I added the red and white stripes on the shield as a nod to Sir Galahad colors. I plan to paint a knight after each knight of the round table.

Like my Noble Lord, I have this knight galloping through water. I tried to make it look like running water and move it with the horse hooves. I want to make more kinds of cavalry bases. Maybe some with brick or a riverbed.

I am pleased to show off my first of three converted Scourgerunner Chariots, finally painted. Some time ago, I put together three of these as my rendition of the Cities of Sigmar Scourgerunner Chariot. I game terms, the chariot is supposed to be a Drukhari/Dark Elf/Privateer model, but I made mine aesthetically human. Specifically, in my Middenheim blue/white colour scheme and Freeguild design.

For the other non-human units in the army book, what kind of scratchbuilds or conversions can I do on the monsters that could follow the Freeguild/human aesthetic? I’m looking into possible clockwork/steampunk works or several guardsmen in hydra hide for my initial ideas.

My army leader is done. The Noble Lord on horseback. I plan on getting one on foot too.

Going with my promenade theme, my cavalry will actually be galloping through water, like the Noble Lord. I’ve also done a tutorial for this guy!

I have finally gotten to this commission. It’s been waiting for my loving touch for a bit.

In the LotR corner, we have many on horseback. There are 2 more Sons of Eorl, 6 horseback archers, and a shield maiden (metal head), and a Great Eagle. There are also 13 native warriors that are in categorical limbo. Their bases say not Malifaux, but their bodies say probably not LotR. A bit of conversion work on them, giving them blow darts instead of shields.

I did get a bit over zealous and built the second Great Eagle. The commission only called for one… Ill just put down my glue and step away lol.

A single Nazgob Orc Great Shaman, an old school sculpt filled with character.

In the Malifaux corner, we have a handful of ninja Gremlins, a Slop Hauler, and a Whiskey Golem.

I have also tried out my new Canon T5i camera. So pretty. I have some work to do to perfect the shots, some grain to get rid of and some cropping to fix.

Here is the character addition to the unit of horsemen. Eorl the Young. He would have been the final piece of the commission, but some fixes and additions have been placed. I will be changing the colours of the shields to green and white like the Helmingas and removing the free hand.

I did Eorl to a display standard, lots of blending and I added some freehand. I put a horse icon onto his flag. I didn’t want to make the horse a brighter grey because I thought it would blend into the cape too much.
