An assembly only commission for now, and it is complete. Short and sweet for this force.

Genestealer Cults of the Bladed Cog creed. There was some kitbashing for the Brood Brothers, as well as magnetization and scratch building for the tank.

The new Leman Russ kit does not come with heavy stubber or hunter killer missile options (disappointing). So, I had to find some extra bits I had around and found the guns and missiles, but only one mount each. I used styrene strips and rods to make the weapon mounts for a stubber and a missile.

The first of 2 models. The Terminus Est, metal mini from Battlefleet Gothic. Some conversion work sculpting the maw and Nurgle icons on the back. Going for a demonic infestation centralized along the spine of the ship. Need some purple/blue to add to the unnaturalness.

This is a kit bashed Iron Circle Domitar that can be used as either the Domitar or a special Magos. I used rubber casted tubing and cables, so much easier to pose that heating resin. The conversion was inspired from a great conversion that had the four-armed machine and another conversion with the Domitar ripping apart sprue. It’s great.

The next commission on the block. More 30k Mechanicum, an extension to the army I did last time. Kitbashing and converting was needed for the ‘Iron Circle’ Domitar. I never knew this, but Zinge Industries sells miniature cabling in rubber. It makes Mechanicum so much easier to build. I have been enlightened.

A bit of a weapon swap. 24 models have swords instead of spears. The rest and built normally. The other half are in their container. I’ll be basing them standard gravel and grass. The characters, Elendil and Isildur, will be fitted with shields.

Another of my own models. This is a custom Astra Militarum Manticore tank that I made back in 5th edition Guard. Before Manticores were cool. I’ve been thinking of redoing my Guard for sometime now and have decided to go for an Armageddon Steel Legion colour scheme, at least for the tanks. At the very least, I want to make my guardsmen look like they’ve been painted by someone with some more skill than when I first started.

A small update. I wanted to post something that was significant, everything else is just finished being primed and/or base coated.

I am starting off this commission with the Black Coach. I have completed the base and the coffin. However, at the time of writing this, I have almost finished the chassis. Tomorrow shall see finished pictures of the Black Coach and then more models to get started on!

On one of the Nightmares, the mane is missing so I kitbashed my own. It is missing that armour plating, but the demon head thing is quite big, so maybe it makes up for it. We shall see.

About 2 years ago, I got the Anphelion Project Imperial Armour book from Forgeworld. I fell in love with the concept and now I am making 2 armies based on it. They will be average sized, probably around 2k each.

Imperial Guard and Tyranids. The idea is these armies fit together as the Anphelion Project Field Test Contingent. The Imperial Guard will act as the wardens of the Tyranids as the Magos Biologis and his cohort research how to control the Tyranids using psychic beacons. They won’t be allies in standard games. The idea being the guardsmen are only supposed to guard the Tyranids and the Mechanicus equipment, while the Tyranids are being lead to kill the enemies of the Omnissiah in the name of research.

The Imperial Guard will be a veterans list all sitting comfy in flyers and Chimeras. Also a couple artillery pieces and tanks, we will see. I have no idea what kind of list the Tyranids will be. In both, I want to make the lists somewhat playable. So, we will see how that plays out.

Finished the second Overlord and the 5 Crypteks. All that’s left for this batch are the 2 Monoliths!
