Finished the MK3 Orboros battlebox. The models look pretty good, and I think the set would be fun to play with. The ones with the yellow rings, rather than red are for the duplicates that I have already painted. Better for battlefield identification!

The MK3 Battleboxes for Warmahordes are out now and to extend the Orboros commission, a box has been added. Unfortunately, the Argus has 2 of the same halves for his face. Waiting on PP for the piece and I will be able to finish this commission. I did build as much as I could though.

The completion of Morvanha marks the end of this commission! How exciting 😀 Morvanha is a pretty model, it might be a coincidence that I made her lips juicy too 😛

I have completed a nice unit of Tharn Ravagers for the Circle of Orboros. They have the honour of an alternate blood red and black colour scheme. I chose this alternative to tie the colours in better with the previous models I did in another commission.

Now for group shots. All the models of the commission come together, minus the starters, to form a super fighting force in the name of the Devourer Wurm. Looking great!

The mighty Kromac, Champion of the Wurm, brings this commission to a close. At display quality, I did a lot of blend throughout the model. As a neat contrast, I added purple to the shadow tones of his skin. He was a delight to paint.

The commission is almost at an end. All that’s left is Kromac, Champion of the Wurm.
This week, I have completed Gallows Grove, War Wolves, Bloodweavers with UA, Druid Overseer, and Kruger Stormlord.
I didn’t realize at first, but the Bloodweavers are using pieces of bone as daggers. I thought that was pretty cool, if not somewhat ineffective…? The more I was painting the Gallows, the more disturbing they became. People just want to hang (lol) around the trees in peace. Other than the red armour, and a little colour changing with the wolves, everything stayed fairly close to the box art for their colour schemes.
